AGE CRITERIA FOR

NEW ADMISSION

Minimum Age Required as on 31 March of the year of Admission.

Nursery : 3 Years Completed.

Class 1 : 6 Years Completed.

Add one year for each subsequent Class.

Manipulating date of birth to suite the criteria above is an offence.

If the information provided in the application is found to be misinterpreted/ misrepresented/ inaccurate/ false/ or manipulated, the school retains the discretion to refund any fees paid.

Right of admission to school reserved by the school.

Special Instructions For Parent /Guardians

The Office hours are from 8-30 am to 10-30 am. All matters should be discussed within the office hours. Visitors will not be entertained after these hours. The visiting hours for the Headmaster & the Dy. Headmistress shall be between 10.00 am and 11.00 am. At other times by appointment only.

Parents and guardians wishing to meet the teachers should do so only during lunch hours i.e. 11.20 am -11.50 am.

Parent / guardians are expected to co-operate with the school by enforcing "Regularity, Punctuality and Discipline" and by taking interest in their wards progress.

They should check the School Diary and see if the work assigned to the student is completed before they are sent to the school the next day.

Parents, who are not in a position to meet the teachers when called for, may communicate to the school authorities by writing in any language through letters or the school diary.

Parents / guardians are not allowed to meet their wards during the school hours or interact with a teacher during school hours without permission.

From time to time parents/ guardians may be requested to call on the Headmaster to discuss matters regarding the academic performance and behaviour of the students. Parents/ Guardians are required to act promptly in such cases.

 

The Principal has the right to suspend attendance or ask the parents to withdraw a student or refrain from sending their ward to school, whose conduct is injurious to the moral tone of the institution or one who is not benefiting from the opportunities provided by the school.

Parents/ guardians not showing sufficient interest in the progress of their wards or failing to comply with the rules will have to withdraw their wards from the school.

 

Home assignments are set regularly by the teachers to help a student improve his / her standard and keep himself/ herself up to date in daily lessons. Some work for revision and preparation is also given Parents are requested to ensure that the work is duly completed. Homework of students who do not have systematic work habits must be signed by the parents. Student's diary, however, should be checked every day.

 

In case of medical assistance to the student is provided beyond the First Aid available with the school in terms of doctor call, hospital charges and cost of medicines or treatment, the parents/ guardians will have to reimburse the cost incurred by the school.

Students are not allowed to indulge in lending/ borrowing of any items of any kind for what so ever reason. It is not possible for school to handle the adverse consequences of such actions.

 

It is the duty of the parents/ guardians to ensure that neither do they allow / permit or encourage or support their child / ward in indulgence in any kind of business activity in the school or amongst the fellow students or with the staff of the school.

While appreciating the religious sentiments of all students and parents, it is requested that a balance be maintained between the absence from school and the need and necessity to attend/partake religious events during the working days of the school, especially the need to extend the students absence before and after the vacation in continuity. The vacation dates are announced well in advance and it will be in the interest of your ward's education if the functions can be so coordinated and scheduled that the student does not miss his classes.

 

It is absolutely mandatory for the parent to read and acknowledge the student's diary every day and also to check for any note / suggestions or remarks sent by the school authorities.

 

Teachers- Parents Communication : The school diary which has a section allocated for specific teacher/ parent communication is the recommended form of communication. Parents are required not to send communication on chits of paper as these can be misplaced and not communicated to the teacher. Similarly the teachers will be making a note of every significant happening of the child in the diary. As and when required the diary will be brought to the notice of the Principal and the Deputy Headmistresses.

 

It is strictly forbidden to have physical contact amongst the staff and the students under any circumstances. All students, teachers and parents must report any violation of this to the Principal/School Authority/Management immediately. There shall be no second chance available for the individuals involved in an unwarranted physical contact.

BRINGING OF ART MATERIAL

 

As and when the student does not get art material for the class, he/ she will be issued a new basic Art Kit. The Kit will belong to the student once issued. The parent will have to deposit Rs. 300/- in the bank, per kit (effective every time it is issued, which will cover the cost of Kit plus a nominal fine.
